Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 August 2026.
Evoska is a live two-person interpreter. You speak. We transcribe, translate, and speak the line in the other person's language using a voice you enrolled. This policy explains what we process and why, under the GDPR and Spain's LOPDGDD and LSSI-CE.
1. Controller
- Product: Evoska
- Controller: Nicolás Cieri, Empresario individual / autónomo
- NIE: Z2248368P
- Address: Avenida España 230, local derecha, 29680 Estepona, Málaga, Spain
- Privacy: privacy@regtrix.com
Technical development is carried out by CIERICORP TECHNOLOGY, S.A. DE C.V. (Querétaro, Mexico) as a processor under article 28 GDPR.
2. What we process
- Display name, language, remaining minutes, and an optional email and password hash if you create an account.
- A 6-digit confirmation or password-reset code, sent by email and stored only as a hash until it expires or is used.
- A voice sample you upload so translated lines can be spoken in your voice.
- Live room audio, processed in real time to transcribe, translate, and speak. We do not keep a recording after the turn is delivered.
- Purchase records (plan, amount, provider, transaction id) so we can credit minutes and meet tax rules.
- Technical logs needed to run the service (time, coarse device or browser data, error traces).
3. What we do not do
- We do not tap your cellular or WhatsApp calls. Evoska only works inside this app.
- We do not sell your data or use your audio to advertise.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not use live audio to train public models.
4. Why we process it (legal bases)
- Contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR): run the room, keep your account, deliver minutes you bought.
- Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f): security, fraud prevention, basic diagnostics.
- Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c): keep billing records as required in Spain.
- Consent (art. 6.1.a): optional email account, microphone access, voice sample.
5. Processors
We use:
- Amazon Web Services, for hosting in the United States.
- Stripe, for card payments on the web.
- Apple and Google, if you buy minutes in their stores.
- Speech, translation, and voice-synthesis providers that process live audio only to deliver the conversation.
Some of these are outside the EEA. Transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
6. How long we keep it
- Account, name, language, minutes: until you delete the account.
- Voice sample: until you replace it or delete the account.
- Live audio: transient. Not stored after the turn is spoken.
- Purchases and invoices: up to 6 years (Spanish Commercial Code).
- Backups: fall away within 90 days after deletion.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email privacy@regtrix.com. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Spanish AEPD (aepd.es).
Delete the account in the app, on the web, or at evoska.com/delete-account.
8. Children
Evoska is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account or enroll a voice for a child.
9. Store nutrition labels
For App Store and Play listings: we collect name, email (if you register), audio for app functionality, and purchase history. None of it is used for tracking. Microphone access is only for the live room and voice enrollment.
